Digital Communications Co-ordinator (part-time)    

The Scottish Episcopal Church seeks to appoint a part-time Digital Communications Co-ordinator (15 hours per week) initially for one year.  The role involves working with the Director of Communications in the co-ordination, development and delivery of all digital communication and to assess and identify social media opportunities.

The normal place of work will be the post-holder’s home but attendance at meetings at the General Synod Office will be required from time to time as will attendance at the annual meeting of the General Synod.

Candidates applying for the post will have:

• Experience in the use of information and communications technology and commonly used IT applications, including Wordpress and Mailchimp and experience of using a range of social media channels within a professional environment
• An ability to take initiative and work independently within agreed parameters.
• Good self-management, decision making, and organisational skills
• A logical, systematic and innovative approach to challenges and opportunities
