Do you have the drive to be a leader in your community and beyond?
Do you see your Christian or Muslim faith playing a part in this?
The International Youth Leader Programme is a partnership initiative between Church of
Scotland, Al Waleed Centre (Edinburgh University), Interfaith Scotland and PROCMURA
(Programme for Christian & Muslim Relations in Africa).
This is a unique opportunity for young Muslims and Christians interested in interfaith and
international relations.
What: We are taking a group of young adults to one of PROCMURA’s regional offices in
Rwanda for a week of cultural exchange, dialogue and learning. The trip will be followed
by events coordinated by participants at Scottish Interfaith Week and an Interfaith youth
conference in May 2018. Participants will be expected to raise a minimum of £300 towards
travel and expenses.

When: Deadline for applications: 28th April
Interviews: 8 & 9th May
Training & Orientation Days: 4th July 2017 & 15th August
Trip to Rwanda: 9th – 17th September 2017
