Bishop Nigel Questions Lord’s Prayer Advert Censorship

Published

Three large cinema chains have declined to use the recent Church of England 60 second advert featuring an every day take on the Lord's Prayer.  See the advert here.

Bishop Nigel comments: “Shame on the cinemas – this Scrooge-like censorship is out of step with public sentiment just before Christmas. There’s a lot going on our world and in people’s everyday lives that makes time for reflection poignant. The Lord’s Prayer is in tune with our longing".
