Wednesday, 10 February is Ash Wednesday.
This marks the beginning of the Christian Season of Lent.  A time of reflection and preparation up until Easter.
Church services on Ash Wednesday around the Diocese will include the Ceremony of the Imposition of Ashes signifying Lent as a penitential time in which we look to improve the quality of our lives.  

Bishop Nigel will be at St Mary's Arbroath for their Ash Wednesday service at 7pm.
