Published

Archbishop of Canterbury, The Most Reverend Justin Welby visited St Luke's, Downfield, Dundee on Tuesday, 25 November 2014 as part of his two day visit to The Scottish Episcopal Church.  Bishop Nigel introduced him to The Centre of Mission Project based at St Luke's and St Paul's Cathedral shared with the Church Army.
Reverend Kerry Dixon and Pioneer Evangelist Craig Dowling together with about 80 people filled the Church to hear the Archibishop congratulate and encourage them in endeavouring to reach the local community in fresh ways.  The faithful few who have kept the Church going in recent years were delighted to celebrate the Church's new beginning.  Pre-school children from the nursery based at St Luke's and students from Baldragon Academy enjoyed meeting their special visitor.
