All Saints-tide concert Thursday 31 October at All Saints’ Church, Glencarse

The second annual All Saints-tide concert will be at 6.00pm on Thursday 31st October at All Saints’ Church, Glencarse. It is in aid if Alzheimer Scotland and will take the form of an hour-long vocal and piano recital. The soloists are LIAM BONTHRONE (tenor) and DANIEL SILCOCK (piano).
A former pupil of Ian Young, Rector of All Saints’ Liam is in his final post-graduate year at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London and is making a name for himself, having recently sung in Paris and now preparing Russian songs to perform in St. Petersburg. He was recently a soloist in Handel’s oratorio, Samson at Haddo House, Aberdeenshire.
Daniel is in his final post-graduate year at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and is no stranger to Glencarse having performed at All Saints’ several times. Lam will sing songs in English interspersed with piano solos from Daniel.
This promises to be an outstanding hour of music.
There will be refreshments after the recital.
