PopUp Choir – Minneapolis
Friday 30 August – 7pm
The highly acclaimed PopUp Choir from Minneapolis, USA will be performing a concert of beautiful choral music in the cathedral, including works by Tallis, Britten, Lauridsen, Whitacre and Mealor.
The choir will be directed by renowned conductor and composer Paul Mealor (composer of the beautiful setting of 'Ubi Caritas' sung at the wedding of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge).
The concert will last approximately 1 hour – admission is free (with a retiring collection for cathedral funds).
Refreshments will be available after the concert, giving the audience the chance to meet with Paul Mealor and members of the choir.
